的新闻转化成用译语(如汉语)语言表达出来的新闻的翻译方法.在对原语新闻进行编译之前,首先应该把有关新闻材料浏览一遍,掌握新闻的重点和主要信息.如果是对两篇或两篇以上的新闻材料进行编译,还得注意各篇新闻的重点和不同于其它篇的地方,并且最好以其中一条新闻为主进行编译,而以其它新闻为辅,仅将其部分材料编入成品新闻.第二,在对新闻标题的处理上,如果是编译单条新闻,可以直接延用原英语新闻的标题,也可以根据新闻的重心,再结合汉语读者的文化和认知心理以及汉语表达习惯,重新拟出新的标题.如果是编译数条新闻,那么就更应该综合各条新闻的主要内容,拟出能够涵盖各主要新闻事件或者突出主要新闻事件的综合性标题.第三,在编译新闻导语时,如果原文没有导语或者没有概括性的导语,译者可以归纳原文的主要内容,编写出一条总结性的导语,而且在导语里应该突出主要新闻事件.第四,在编译新闻主体的时候,一般外电,外报的新闻稿件都比较长,内容丰富,译者没有必要逐字逐句地全译,而应该删繁就简,提取出重要信息进行编译,而把一些次要信息或者对译语读者可有可无的信息略去.但必须注意的是,译文仍然必须忠实于原文,囊括原文的主要内容,而不能扭曲原文或者断章取义,也不能随意增加原文中没有的实质性内容.如果为了篇章结构连接需要,译文可以增加一些过渡性的非实质性的字句.总的说来,译文应该准确,流畅,精练,灵活.
