   Ⅰ.Educational Objectives

   培养学生德智体美全面发展, 具有正确的世界观,人生观和价值观;具有较扎实的自然科学基础;掌握生物科学的基础理论,基础知识和基础技能.

   湖北省人才培养改革试验班学生应该受到严格科学思维的训练以及良好的专业技能训练,成为能够运用所掌握的理论知识和技能从事生物科学基础理论及相关领域科学研究的人才;同时能胜任生物领域技术开发,教学及管理等方面的工作.

   师范班主要是培养合格的学师资具有现代教育观念和一定的课堂教学能力,班主任工作能力,教学研究能力,使用现代教育技术的能力,较强的普通话表达能力成为跨学科教师,学科研究人员,教育行政管理人员或为地方经济和社会发展服务人才基础.The objective is to cultivate professionals with prehensive development on morality, wisdom, physique and aesthetics; with positive outlook, philosophy and value view; with solid foundation of natural science; with basic theories, knowledge and techniques of biological sciences.

   As students in Hubei Provincial Pilot Class on Reformation of Student-cultivating Mode, they will be trained strictly with scientific thinking and professional techniques. The graduates finally can be advanced professionals engaged in scientific research on basic theories of biological sciences and related fields, also they can be engaged in technical exploitation, teaching and administration in biological fields.

   As students in Normal Class, they will be trained to be professional teachers in biological sciences, or interdisciplinary teachers, scientific researchers, administrators in education.    本专业培养生物科学基础研究型(试验班)或教学型(师范班)人才.培养规格一般具备以下要求:

   1)素质结构要求

   具备较高的思想道德素质:包括正确的政治方向,遵纪守法,诚信为人,有较强的团队意识和健全人格.

   具备较高的文化素质:掌握一定的人文社科基础知识,具有较好的人文修养;具有国际化的视野和现代意识,以及健康的人际交往意识.

   具备良好的专业素质:受到严格的科学思维训练,掌握较扎实的生物科学基础理论和研究方法,有求实创新的意识和精神.师范班学生需掌握教育学的基础理论和研究方法.

   具备良好的身心素质:包括健康的体魄,良好的心理素质和生活习惯.

   能力结构要求

   获取知识的能力:具有良好的自学能力,有较好的表达交流能力,有一定的计算机及信息技术应用能力.

   应用知识能力:

   试验班:具有综合运用所掌握的理论知识和技能,从事生物科学及其相关领域科学研究的能力;具有一定生物科学与技术研发的能力.

   师范班:具有综合运用所掌握的理论知识和技能,从事生物学教学的能力;具有一定的教学研究和教学改革的能力.

   创新能力:具有较强的创造性思维能力,开展创新实验和科学研究的能力.

   自然科学知识:掌握数学,物理,化学等方面的基本理论和基本知识.

   人文社会科学知识:具有一定的文学,艺术,哲学,思想道德,生物*学,法学,社会学,心理学等方面的知识.

   工具性知识:掌握一门外语,能较熟练的运用外语阅读专业期刊和进行文献检索,有一定的外语交流和科技写作能力;具有较高的计算机操作技术.

   试验班:掌握扎实的生物科学的基础理论,基础知识和基本技能,受到系统的专业理论和专业技能训练.具备一定的科学研究能力,熟悉学科前沿趋势以及发展动态.

   师范班:掌握扎实的生物科学及其教育学的基础理论,基础知识和基本技能.

   This program is for cultivating professional researchers (Pilot Class) or professional teachers (Normal Class) of biological sciences . The skills profile are as follows.

   1. Requirements of quality profile

   A. Sound morality, including correct political orientation, law-abiding awareness, consciousness of team work, and good personalities.

   B. Culture awareness, including some basic knowledge of social science, adequate humanistic merits, international insight, keen consciousness and healthy interpersonal relationship.

   C. Adequate professional knowledge. The students will trained by strict scientific thoughts. They should solid foundation of basic theories and research methods of biological sciences and technology. Also they should h论文范文e consciousness and spirit of pursuing truth and innovation.

   D. Being physically and mentally healthy, including good living habits.

   2. Requirements of ability profile

   Abilities to obtain knowledge, including ability of self-study, ability of expression and munication, ability of puter science and application of informational techniques.

   For Pilot Class, students are required to be capable of conducting scientific research in biological sciences and related fields, and capable of research and exploration of biological sciences and techniques.

   For Normal Class, students are required to be capable of teaching biology, capable of teaching research and innovation.

   C. Abilities of innovation, including ability of innovative thinking, ability of performing innovative experiments and scientific research.

   3. Requirements of knowledge profile

   A. Knowledge of natural science, including the basic theories and knowledge of mathematics, physics, chemistry etc.

   B. Knowledge of social science, including knowledge of literature, arts, philosophy, morality, bioethics, laws, sociology, psychology and so on.

   C. Knowledge of foreign language application. The students will grasp one foreign language for searching and reading professional publications, and be good at munication and scientific writing in the foreign language. Also they will be good at puter operation.

   D. For Pilot Class, the students will grasp basic theories, knowledge and techniques of biological sciences, and be trained systematically with professional theories and techniques. They will be good at scientific research in biological fields, and aware of the contemporary trends of biological sciences.

   For Normal Class, the students will grasp basic theories, knowledge and techniques of biological sciences and pedagogy.

   Ⅲ.Program Features

   采取"大类招生,分流培养"的"3+5"模式,即不分专业以学院统一招生,前三个学期学习通识课程和大类基础课程,第四学期初分流为生物科学专业(包括试验班和师范班),生物技术专业和生物工程专业.

   试验班:本方案在加强生物科学的基本理论和基本知识学习的同时,特别注重基本技能的培训,强化科研意识和创新思维的培养,如设立自主创新性实验,进行科研实习等,相当于硕士前教育和训练,使学生具备一定的科学研究能力.

   师范班:本方案注重加强科学的基本理论和基本知识以及现代教育理论的学习,注重科学的实验,应用技能现代教育技术能力的训练."3 plus 5" mode is taken for this program, i.e. the students are recruited in the college level as a whole. In the first 3 semesters they need to take courses in general education and general discipline, while in the beginning of the 4th semester, the students are divided into 3 specialties: biological sciences (including pilot class and normal class), biological technology and biological engineering.

   Pilot Class: This program focuses on basic theories and knowledge of biological sciences, also on training of basic techniques, scientific consciousness and innovative thoughts, for instances, there are a set of self-design innovative experiments and practice of scientific research. This program is for the pre-master education and training.

   Normal Class: This program focuses on basic theories and knowledge of biological sciences and pedagogy, also on training of basic biological and modern pedagogic techniques.
